Who we are
ML’CO Interiors is a Portugal-based interior design studio founded by Carla Oliveira and Miguel Lopes.
Working across residential, hospitality and commercial projects, the studio develops considered interiors where architecture, materiality and individuality come together.
Our Creative Founders
Carla Oliveira and Miguel Lopes founded ML’CO Interiors around a shared interest in the relationship between interior design, materiality and the way people live.
Their complementary perspectives shape a highly personal approach, from the first concept through to the smallest detail.

INTERIOR LAYOUT and SPACE PLANNING
We develop the spatial foundations of each project, considering circulation, proportions, functionality and the relationship between architecture and interior space. Layouts are carefully studied to create environments that feel intuitive, balanced and tailored to the way they will be used.
INTERIOR DESIGN and CREATIVE DIRECTION
From the initial concept to the final atmosphere, we define a cohesive design language for each project. Materials, finishes, colours, lighting, furniture and bespoke elements are brought together to create interiors with a strong sense of identity and continuity.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT and TECHNICAL DOC.
Creative concepts are translated into detailed and buildable solutions. We develop technical drawings, bespoke joinery, lighting plans, material specifications and construction details, providing the information required for accurate execution on site.
FURNITURE, LIGHTING and BESPOKE DESIGN
We curate furniture, lighting, textiles, artwork and decorative pieces from an international network of brands and suppliers. Where required, we also design bespoke furniture and custom-made elements specifically for the project.
PROCUREMENT and PROJECT COORDINATION
We manage quotations, orders, supplier communication, production follow-up and delivery coordination, ensuring that every selected item is carefully monitored from specification through to arrival on site.
INSTALLATION and FINAL STYLING
The final stage brings the project together. We coordinate furniture installation, lighting, textiles, artwork and decorative elements, completing the space with careful attention to placement, composition and detail.
